I remember buying this one and never getting around to it. Sounded very intriguing, with the setting of the 19th Century and the oblique approach to the Victorian novel - featuring characters who did not get a look-in back in the day - it promised to fill in a lot of gaps.

I enjoyed the tree book very much, way back when, along with the 2011 BBC drama featuring Romola Garai. Not tried the audiobook before, but fancied it as a way to revisit a great (but quite lengthy!) read.
